ROBERTS GORDON
For commercial, industrial, institutional, agricultural, military applications and more
Headquartered in Buffalo, New York, Roberts-Gordon is an international manufacturer of infrared tube heaters, controls and associated accessories. Our product offering includes a wide range of low-intensity infrared heaters ranging from a fully custom engineered system down to a plug-and-play residential infrared heaters for small garages. The Peter J. Schiller Corporation has been the RG representative for eight counties in western NY for the better part of two decades.
For each application, infrared heaters are strategically placed to deliver even heat distribution throughout. Airplane hangars or large storage warehouse facilities allow for a wide heat pattern, due to high ceiling heights. Smaller areas, such as a fire station, utilize side reflectors to direct heat where it is needed most. We have an infrared heater for every application. Contact us to help with design and layout assistance with infrared tube heaters for your building.

Residential Infrared Heating for Garage Applications
Approved for residential garages and light commercial applications, Caribe® infrared heaters are the easiest to order, install and appreciate. Each heater is factory assembled with a compact u-tube design that delivers maximum inputs at minimum tube lengths. This infrared heater is engineered with a balanced flue preventing the need for multiple building penetrations. Exhaust and combustion air are able to exit and enter at the same location courtesy of concentric vent tubing.
After your residential infrared heating unit is easily installed, included 24 volt dual scale thermostat can be connected for immediate operation. With infrared heater installed horizontally or tilted at a 45 degree angle, the deep-dish reflector properly directs infrared heat to desired areas. Low clearances to combustibles allow infrared tube heaters to be installed in residential garages and workshops. Additionally, lobby areas, entrance ways and public garages are prefect applications for this compact and residential infrared heater.

Basic Infrared Tube Heater
Roberts Gordon® Compact™ BH-Series infrared heaters covers all the basics and maintain heater longevity against all others. A positive pressure infrared heater design combines the reliable features shared by other available infrared heaters. This heater offers the largest number of burner inputs, against all other Roberts Gordon infrared heaters available. A detailed Installation, Operation and Service manual is included with every heater. Leading against the competition, a three-year limited warranty on all components is also included.
Unlike other infrared heaters, no need to worry about loosing the burner box door. A hinged burner box allows easy access to electrical components during annual maintenance and fall season start-up. High efficiency aluminum reflectors direct the heat where it is needed most, minimizing heat loss. With infrared heat absorbed within the floors and objects, heat is then re-released into the environment creating a more even heat distribution.
Infrared heater configurations in straight, u-tube or angled utilizing a 90 degree bend accessory, allows heat to be concentrated in areas where it is needed most. For use in a more discrete location, decorative grills are available to disguise the infrared heater within the space.
- Long life provided by durable components.
- Clean, quiet draft-free comfort.
- Design flexibility achieved with multiple configurations including both L and U-tube options and broad range of burner sizes and tube lengths.
- Easy serviceability provided through hinged door design.

Modulating Unitary Infrared Heater
Roberts Gordon® Vantage® Modulating Series infrared tube heater provide an energy efficient option for space heating and building comfort. Standard heater design provides adjustment of both fuel and combustion air. A modulating gas valve and variable speed blower allow the infrared heater to operate at any input between the minimum and maximum rating input. Based on heater btu/h input, performance operation ranges from 100% at maximum input, down to 66% average at minimum input.
Modulating infrared heaters have an advantage over standard single stage models or secondary two stage offering due to the standard operation flexibility. Modulating infrared heaters paired with a modulating thermostat capture the full heater input range. When the thermostat calls for heat, the infrared heater turns on at the minimum btu/h input, slowly heating the space to satisfy the room temperature. Once the temperature with the space has been satisfied, the heater modulates down maintaining the temperature but with less energy.
- Trouble free, fuel efficient operation with fully automatic or manual control of burner modulation.
- Efficient and optimum combustion throughout full range of burner inputs ensured by pre-programmed burner controls.
- System information and ease of service provided by comprehensive on-board diagnostics for fault and system status.
- Burner box design with protective enclosure for controls minimizes exposure to dirt and moisture from combustion air.
- Design flexibility achieved with multiple configurations and broad range of burner sizes and tube lengths.
- Long life provided by durable components.

Twin Fire Gas-Fired Infrared Heaters
Roberts Gordon® Complete™ TF-Series infrared tube heater is one of the most effective unitary infrared heaters in the market today. The Complete™ TF patented twin fire infrared heater stands apart from all others. With a centralized burner location, larger surface areas can be heated with less energy. One burner box with two heat exchanger burner tubes allow for maximum heater inputs at lower clearances to combustibles, relative to similar infrared heaters.
The standard heater design with two heaters in one reduces installation cost. Several suggested design layouts are shown below. Customization is also available with guidelines outlined in the installation, operation and service manual. Common venting or individual venting should be determined before ultimate layout for specific application is chosen.
With a range of infrared heaters available from the Roberts Gordon infrared family of products, the Complete™ TF supplies the highest burner inputs - up to 380,000 Btu/h.
